Bilateral contract project of Ardakan Steel Company

Ardakan Steel Complex Company located in Ardakan city of Yazd province with an annual production capacity of 960,000 tons of sponge iron was inaugurated in September 2016 with the presence of managers and technical staff of this complex to be a turning point in creating economic and infrastructure for the development and promotion of Iran. Ardakan Steel Complex is the first and largest private project in the country in the field of sponge iron production to meet part of the domestic feed needs of steel mills and steel, including the complete production chain (concentrate unit, pelletizing unit, sponge iron production unit, smelting, and steel unit, Rolling factory) is located in Ardakan, Yazd.

This factory has two branch lines with a capacity of 35,000 kW and a power supply from 66 and 132 kV lines.

The consulting company has estimated the optimal economic capacity that can be purchased in the bilateral contract for this complex by examining the current conditions of energy consumption, rules, and regulations related to bilateral contracts and technical and economic studies, which has saved the electricity costs of this complex.
